Season of Drawing | Residency at Royal Museums Greenwich
May-June 2023
As part of the Season of Drawing at Royal Museum Greenwich, Nicole Mollett was practitioner in Residence. She spent three months researching the wider collection and making drawings in response to The Van De Veldes: Greenwich, Art and The Sea exhibition at the Queen House. As artist in residence she delivered ten public drawing workshops with museum visitors and special groups including a Lewisham college Refugee and Migrant women’s group.
Nicole worked in collaboration with Queen’s House VSA team to create a new drawing resource book inspired by the Queen’s House. The limited edition publication will be freely offered to museum visitors to encourage them to explore the architecture and art through a series of creative drawing prompts created by RGM staff members.
