Do you find joy in nature?

Do you do have a favourite local walk or wildlife species?

These are some of the questions artist Nicole Mollett asked the people of Rainham. She gathered eco-stories to draw as part of a series of drawings of everyday engagements with nature in Rainham. Her drawings celebrated acts of kindness and care for the environment, encouraging conversation about climate change issues in the town.

Alongside the series of miniature drawings installed in shops, the artist created a new ornate village sign in the Railway station waiting room, as she realised there was no official village sign in the town.
