Artist in residence: Trinity Buoy Wharf

I am happy to announce that I have been appointed as Artist in Residence at Trinity Buoy Wharf, starting from March 2026.
During my residency I will immerse myself in life at the mouth of the River Lea, researching its industrial heritage and exploring how the communities who live and work on the peninsula connect with the river today. Alongside my creative research, I will deliver a programme of free drawing workshops with local schools and community groups, as well as sessions open to the public.
I am particularly interested in uncovering the hidden stories of the place where the River Lea meets the River Thames, approaching it as a living, ever-changing site shaped by multiple, layered narratives. The artworks produced during the residency will reflect the area’s rich maritime history of confluence, featuring the many ships and vessels that continue to navigate this channel.
