Walk, Talk, Draw

Meet outside: Rose Cottage Museum, Rose st, Sheerness-on-Sea,  ME12 1AH

 
For Estuary Festival 2021 artist Nicole Mollett will lead a walking drawing workshop around the town of Sheerness. Participants will be given a series of short drawing exercises inspired by the local high street architecture and maritime industrial heritage. The tour will explore some of the town’s hidden footpaths, back alleyways and the iconic seawall. There will be time to share and discuss the drawings created at the end of the workshop.

Everyone is welcome, no prior drawing experience is necessary. Materials including paper and pencils will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sketchpad. The walk begin at 2pm and last approximately 2 hours and starts outside the Rose Cottage Museum. There will be access to a toilet and hand-wash facilities within the museum at the start and end of the workshop. This workshop will operate following covid safety rules including wearing masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of participants depending on the current government guidance.
