Landmark Projects is an artist run organization was started in 2004 in South east London. We set up the organization specifically to create a platform for developing artists to explore their ideas in non-gallery environments, e.g. public, domestic, and heritage spaces with the main aim of promoting creative excellence.

Landmark Project primary aim is to support artists developing their practice, establish new platforms for them to make work in. We want to provide a platform for high quality creativity in whatever form it takes, supporting up and coming artists reach their potential. We also aim to involve a public/wider network engagement program with each project we run, by either running workshops, seminars or lectures, to allow for broader access to the knowledge we foster. We aim to keep a fully accessible archive of projects on our website, thus providing a database to share with other artist organizations. We aim to take art outside the normal gallery context, broadening the definition of ‘public art’. We want to expand our aims, by starting a new mobile project space in the south east, from which we can run exhibitions and residencies.
